A hosted USSD and SMS gateway for East Africa. One API across Safaricom, Airtel and MTN, a session state machine that survives the two-minute USSD timeout, an SMS fallback for feature phones that drop the session, and a simulator so you can build the menu before the shortcode is provisioned. Includes the paperwork checklist for getting a shortcode, which is usually the longest part of the project.
One API, three operators
The operator differences are ours to absorb, not yours to discover in production.
Session state machine
Survives the USSD timeout and the resume-after-drop case.
Simulator
Build and test the menu before the shortcode exists.
Shortcode checklist
The regulatory paperwork, documented, in order.

Solid code and clear structure. The setup guide assumes you already have Docker working, which cost me an hour.

Bought this on a Friday, had it deployed by Tuesday. The documentation is genuinely accurate, which I have stopped expecting.

One more page of documentation and this is a five. As it stands I had to read the source twice.

Dropped it into a client project, rebranded it, delivered early. The structure made that easy rather than painful.
